CalligrART: a day of Arts and Calligraphy

I’m so excited about this event because I will be joining my first ever workshop (which I will be discussing in a separate post).

Thanks to Scribe Writing Essentials and Zig Philippines, I was able to attend another calligraphy/art event. I love being exposed to this kind of community. I never knew I would be amazed until I decided to participates in these events.

Came in early and was able to witness the Live Art Mural of these superb artists!!!

Patrick Cabral (@darkgravity) RULE YOURSELF. It was a colorful mural that was insipred with Underarmours’s new tagline. I followed him on instrgam and I was inspired to read the reason why he choose that tagline. Go read @darkgravity

June Digan (@junedigann) HAPPY DAYS AHEAD. A Black and White beauty. I love the details!

Anina Rubio (@aninarubio) SEA YOU. Summer is here! Thanks to Anina, I couldnt be more excited for summer! I feel so relaxed whenever I look at her mural.

Nelz Yumul (@nelzy) DOODLES. I love the doodles all over this mural!

Jeth Torres (@jethtorres ) PROTECT THE PHILIPPINE ISLAND. He brought awareness for the West Philippine Sea which for me is a great job. I love how patriotic Jeth is. I am excited about a shirt he will be releasing about this!

Kay Aranzanso (@kayaranzanso). PINK. A cool Face illustration.

And because I love patterns I enjoyed watching Kuretake Kaleidolines Live Mural by @rvaldevi & @markdeanlim Kaleidolines is art which is created with many lines and these are really beautiful shapes!!!

Brush Doodles by Nelz Yumul @nelzy

Emboss Brush Calligraphy by @thefozzybook I didn’t know that emboss calligraphy could be this great until I saw how Fozzy played with her gold powder. It’s amazing to see how the powder melt!

Journals & Stamps by Aina Paco @aina.kristina After the Capsule Class, she did a demo about how to design your planners and journals to make it more appealing whenever you’re writing.

Stamp Calligraphy by Paola Koala @paola_koala I learned that you can use your brush pens as your stamp inks! After seeing her own rubber stamps, I became interested with it as well.

Fashion illustration by @peterichchiuwan The person behind styLIZed illustrations! I’m happy to be able to witness him. It looks so easy when he is doing it. I enjoyed his demo. Although I know I can’t draw that great, I feel like I can illustrate anything. Too inspired? haha

Overall I enjoyed and learned a lot. I can’t wait for another event!!!! I’m grateful for these events.
